Duties and Responsibilities as UK IT apprenticeship:

Support the IT service desk core between dealership core business hours (currently 7:30 am – 6 pm weekdays and 8 am – 2 pm Saturdays on a shift rota system). Assist in call screening, prioritization, accurate and consistent call logging, and proactive resolution of end-user requests through an IT service desk. Assist in managing user access through Active Directory and dealer management systems under housekeeping procedures, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure. Remote support and responding to all incoming email and telephone requests. Remote support and configuration of Apple devices. Software support for Server 2008, Windows operating systems Windows 7 and Windows 10, and MS Office versions 2010 – 2016, among other business software solutions. They support antivirus and backup solutions. Provide feedback to the team leader daily, weekly, and monthly. Provide accurate communication and adhere to all team and discipline standards, SLA, and team performance standards. Positive contribution to overall team performance and standards, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Adhere to IT procurement standards and cost/price information. Issuing 3rd party vendors as required project resources and advised administration, documentation, and training – as required by service desk policies and procedures, including vetting and intranet updates for MADC.
