Responsibilities:
- Work will be under the Manager’s direction.
- Introducing new technologies
- The testing is the Testing Advisor’s responsibility,
- Evaluation and testing of innovative screening technologies as well as modifications to the hardware and software of systems that are already in use.
- The incumbent serves as both the technical project lead and subject matter expert for the designated technology platforms.
- All additional job-related tasks and obligations are carried out by the testing advisor as need.
Specifications:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a concentration in engineering, physics, chemistry, information technology, or another field relevant to the position’s responsibilities;
- A minimum of five years’ worth of expertise working in a technical setting across several technologies;
- A minimum of three years of experience testing, troubleshooting equipment problems, designing tools, evaluating test protocols, and evaluating standards;
- Having written test plans, reports, and recommendations for at least three years;
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with members having diverse levels of technical background
- And communicating with a variety of stakeholders, including government regulators, airport authorities, and technology vendors;
- Practical knowledge of an operational setting;
- Knowledge of the theories, tenets, and procedures relating to testing, assessment, and validation of equipment, systems integration, quality assurance, monitoring, and troubleshooting, as well as technical reporting and consultation;
- Understanding of best practices and research tools for analyzing technology performance.
