A Consultant | Test Automation Specialist job in Toronto is needed right now as we expand across Canada. Responsibilities:
- Consult with others to get their opinions, suggestions, and guidance on how to deploy test automation.
- Create, test, and maintain reusable test plans to assist in the delivery of automated test solutions.
- Help with the thorough analysis and interpretation of the results to help isolate and identify problems and suggest fixes.
- Develop expertise in test automation industry-leading tools and processes, and spread knowledge through mentoring and teaching.
- Work together with coworkers to share information and creative concepts to advance the automation profession.
Qualifications:
- Degree in computer science or an equivalent
- Experience in test automation for at least 5 years, with at least 3 projects or responsibilities.
- Expertise with API technologies like SoapUI and experience automating API tests for at least two years with at least three projects.
- Working knowledge of POM and TestNG, as well as creating or implementing automation frameworks or designs
- Strong test case planning and automation skills (using Java, Python, C#, etc.)
- It is preferable to have experience with development methods, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and unit testing.
- Assessing knowledge of several enterprise applications, including products like Salesforce
- A lifelong learner, current with best practices in the business, and able to transfer knowledge between tool sets
- Excellent multitasking abilities, time management prowess, self-motivation, and keen attention to detail
