Job description
Proficient Temenos T24/TAP Software Engineers need to analyze the application and update the Temenos T24/TAP core banking software system adding developing, designing, maintaining, testing, and documenting program code by customer needs, and system and technical specifications.
Responsibilities of Temenos T24/TAP Software Engineer
You will be collaborating with our candidates to gain valid information of their needs, assessing their requirements through workshops with their customers, and analyzing the system program for best fit for structuring. You will recognize technology limitations and deficits in their existing systems and associated strategies, mechanisms and strategies. As part of the team, you will be answerable for testing, diagnosing, debugging, and fixing any errors/faults in the programming to ensure the Temenos T24/TAP implementation performs to specification You will write and support program code to meet system needs, system designs and technical specifications by quality accredited standards You will make sure that all end-user documentation and operational procedures documentation is kept fully upgrade. You will give advice, mentoring, and proficiency in improving proof of concept (POC) for software design activities that can be used when recommending applications and structure of the Temenos T24/TAP application system.
Your Role:
Your role will add the setup of the following T24/TAP modules:
- Core System Users Accounts Standard Tables Teller Funds.
- Transfer organizing.
- Architecture Loans and Deposits.
- Multi-Company & Multi-Boot
- Security Administration.
- User SMS, System – Override, Company SMS
- You will also need to analyze the parameterization and structure of T24/TAP, and to offer training to local consultants and customers in T24/TAP.
Qualification and Skills
Applicants must have:
- A minimum of 3 years’ proficiency within the banking sector working as a Temenos T24/TAP Software Engineer.
- Proficiency in Release 18 or higher of the Temenos T24/TAP product.
- Proficiency in working on at least 2+Applications or upgrades of the Temenos T24/TAP core banking software system.
- Capable in the set-up of the following T24/TAP modules:
- Proficiency in working on the manifold and structure of T24/TAP.
Qualification for Temenos T24/TAP Software Engineer
Preferly educated with Higher National Diploma, B/Tech, or Tertiary education in any discipline, although we will make an exception for the right applicant with exceptional Temenos T24/TAP work proficiency.
It is an Expert level role serving in Information Technology, Banking, and Finance as an Information Technology Software Engineer on a Full Time – Permanent basis.
