Role as Technical Project Manager:

Working within Digital and Technology, the Technical Project Manager in London will focus on pipeline management and multiple complex technology projects and transformation initiatives to meet UAL’s overall strategy, prioritized by the Director of Technology.

You will ensure that customer requirements are met and initiatives are delivered on time and within budget. You will adopt a service design approach within the delivery of technology transformation and ensure that the University’s service needs meet through the continuous development of its product roadmaps.

This role(Technical Project Manager in London) will support a variety of projects in the technology area, such as implementing InTune, building a CMDB, reviewing Identity Management, and supporting Cyber ​​Essentials accreditation.

Your profile

  • Experience working within a large organization to deliver a complete lifecycle technology transformation
  • Experience delivering any of the following technology services: networks, telephony, hosting, storage, cybersecurity, identity, audio-visual, collaboration platforms, user support, computing, software, and printing
  • Proven experience in championing and driving technology change, working with technical and operational teams to embed new services into live environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with both internal technology teams and the more comprehensive organization
  • Strong supplier management skills, including negotiation, influencing, and building strong and effective working partnerships.
  • Experience prioritizing workload across multiple projects/change initiatives, effectively managing time and resources, creating detailed work schedules, and prioritizing activities necessary to drive change.
  • Experience building governance, including managing relationships with sponsors and influencers and effective and timely management of pre-board reporting and all follow-up activity.
  • Experience in effectively communicating complex and technical information to diverse audiences, creating productive and trusted ‘partnership’ working relationships across the University.
