SCOPE OF ROLE

  • Informing the Manager, IT Support, Specialist, and Information Technology (IT) Support will signify a strong knowledge of IT operations in a healthy environment. 
  • You will ensure staff satisfaction and adoption of IT systems by administering and providing that hardware, outermost operating systems, applications, security systems, telephony, and audiovisual devices are available and working optimally.
  •  The Specialist IT Support will succeed by ensuring that the staff utilizes technology to grow their efficiencies.

  • Monitor, respond, prioritize, and resolve end-user requests for technical Support explored or submitted via e-mail, chat, phone, service catalog, and face-to-face within established service standards.
  • Perform all tasks with a strong customer service orientation communicating straightforwardly with staff, clients, and third-party vendors.
  • Offer onsite and remote technical Support for peripherals, hardware, applications, operating systems, networks, telephony, security systems, and audiovisual devices, adding but not limited to the following.
  • Hardware: Laptops, Desktops, Tablets, Thin Clients Peripherals: Printers, Scanners, POS, Signature Pads, SSO Devices.
  • Must be proficient in Operating Systems: Windows 10, 11, Android, and iOS.
  • Applications: Manage Engine, O365, Epic, Doxy, DocuSign.
  • Audiovisual: Sound systems, Projectors, Monitors, Overhead Paging
  • Enhancements and service requests to appropriate personnel promptly after resources have been exhausted.
  • Aid in the planning, rollout, and implementation of new systems, including staff training and demonstration.
  • Must Maintain an inventory of computer software and licenses, hardware, and manuals.  
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing requirements.  
  • Teamwork
  • Communicate, collaborate and coordinate with IT Support and Systems Administration teams daily.  
  • Support initiatives and projects that need multiple team members to complete.
  • Must Take in all assigned staff meetings and staff development programs.

Continual Service development

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE of Specialist, IT Support:

  • High School Diploma or similar is needed. 
  • 1-3+ years’ proficiency training is supporting and training IT users on systems and equipment needed.
  • Bachelor’s Degree favored.
  • Must have Knowledge of security systems, applications, networks, compensating hardware, peripherals, telephony, applications, and audiovisual devices.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and Windows OS.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work generally perform in a typical interior/office/clinical work environment.
  • While hours of operation are generally standard, May needs sustainability to work evenings and May require extended hours. 
  • Hearing: adequate to attend customers or patients in person, through telehealth technology, or over the telephone.
  • Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job tasks, including reading information from computer screens and printed sources.
  • The physical effort needed is occasional lifting and carrying items weighing up to 15 pounds.
