RESPONSIBILITIES for Slackbot Developer job:
- Develop, design, debug, modify, and evaluate Slack applications and integrations.
- Analyzes existing apps or formulates logic for new systems, prepares flowcharting, devises logic procedures, and performs coding and tests/debugs programs.
- Obtain and prepare approval of system and programming documentation.
- Recommends changes in maintenance, development, and system standards
- Build Slack integrations into Slack applications to extend application functionality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Information Systems, bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
- Prior app development experience interfacing with basic security fundamentals and APIs
- Experience with Docker, AWS, Kubernetes
- Experience developing apps with Java, Python, or Javascript
- Experience testing, managing, and deploying applications
- 1-3 years updating and developing Slack bots
- Exposure to CI/CD
- Solid understanding of security protocols and application integrations to support them
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Slack Developer must get certified once hired
- Familiar with Slack Bolt framework
- Administrator experience for Slack, Google Workspace, Bonus points for Box, SurveyMonkey, Simpplr, Asana, Miro, Smartsheet, or other similar SaaS applications.
