Job Description of System Engineer
- Manage multiple server OS, UNIX/Linux, and Windows environment
- Categorization, upgradation, and verification of crucial mission-essential applications and framework
- Develop scripts and analyze with automated distribution processes.
- Feature and deploy critical SaaS Applications and Management components.
- Must have Proficiency in Setup and configuration of instruments to monitor the applications, security, and auditing.
- Offer extensive compensating and technical expertise in rectifying problems that impact service delivery.
- Offer extensive compensating and recommend fixes for application issues, including batch jobs, data storage, application functionality, management layers, and load balancing.
- Scheduling, programming, and applying new systems.
- Operational support as application SME for 24×7 systems, adding on-call rotation tasks.
- Conduct correlation and open communication, reaching across functional borders.
- Utilize your support proficiency to set and develop existing standards for system management such as process, creation, monitoring, informing, and documentation.

Skills and Qualifications of System Engineer
- Proficiency with Linux, SUSE
- Proficiency in Tomcat and Java
- Proficiency in SaaS multi-tenant environment architecture
- Expertise in creating, applying, and maintaining monitoring pieces of equipment
- Proficiency with Microsoft 2008, 2012, SQL, and Active Directory is a plus
- Proficiency with Chef automation is a plus.
- Proficiency in Apache and F5 Load Balancers is a plus
- Significant IT work Proficiency with an emphasis on production support of high-capacity mission-critical Cloud applications and systems.
- Senior System Engineer must have Proficiency in running mid to large-scale implementation projects, often with tight deadlines.
