Description:

A fast-growing startup seeking a Senior Software Engineer is trying to develop a more inclusive and decentralised economy where individuals have equal access to opportunity. To iterate on UI/UX, the engineer will collaborate with stakeholders such as product designers and founders. The startup enables customers to conduct cross-chain and cross-protocol money transfers at a fraction of the cost. This role necessitates at least 6 hours of overlap with the Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a responsive user experience.
• Ascertain that the UI/UX concepts are technically feasible.
• Work collaboratively with designers to improve user interfaces.
• Participate actively in the Scrum rituals of the team and contribute to the creation of a nice, constructive environment.
• Accept code reviews with sensitivity and a desire to learn.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the organisation.

Requirements:

• Engineering or computer science bachelor’s/degree master’s (or equivalent experience)
• At least three years of relevant experience as a software engineer is required.
• 3+ years of React development experience.
• Extensive knowledge with Typescript, JSX, Next.js, GraphQL APIs, and Apollo is required.
• Nice to have some previous experience with UX and UI design.
• It is preferable to have prior expertise with drag-and-drop React libraries.
• A keen sense of design and a strong product sense.
• High precision and fidelity in mock implementation.
• Excellent English.
