Your new company
In this role, you will work closely with your team to deliver service delivery plan outcomes. You will develop and maintain good working relationships with our key stakeholders including statutory partners, service providers, voluntary sector and customers Senior Network Administrator.
Your new role
- To provide cost effective, high quality technical services offered by the organisation.
- Leading the development and support of network technologies including core MPLS, LAN/WAN, LFFN, switching, firewalls, and web filtering.
- Understanding the technical and financial implications of project proposals and making recommendations to present to the management team.
- Monitoring the status of all projects by recording the completion and progress of all key tasks.
- Liaising with customers to maintain regular dialogue to ensure service responsiveness and development.
- Acting as liaison and point of contact with other third-party software and hardware suppliers and reporting critical issues to the management team.
What you need to succeed.
- Experience working in a network and communications support environment within the last twelve months.
- Have knowledge and experience on MPLS. Experience in managing and maintaining network switching ie Alcatel, Cisco etc.
- Experience managing and maintaining wireless networking ie ClearPass, Cisco etc.
- Ability to travel independently around Warwickshire.
- Experience supervising and managing a small team.
- Experience in contributing to the development of ICT policies and procedures.
