What you’ll do
Being a Senior Frontend Engineer, you have to do the following things,
- Design solutions: Propose optimal technical resolutions for business issues while supporting an architectural plan that has the potential to expand and become the world’s most advanced research platform.
- Ship working code: We focus on React for frontend development and Kotlin microservices, accompanied by Postgres for backend support. We have some older Ruby on Rails services, but we remain vigilant in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies that can enhance our stack.
- Deploy and iterate: Our release process involves frequent updates to our customers, facilitated by CIrcleCI and Spinnaker for seamless CI/CD. We prioritize gathering swift feedback to help guide our subsequent iterations.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting: We meticulously oversee our services to proactively detect and address errors, preventing any potential impact on user experience. Our approach involves identifying the root cause of issues and implementing prompt solutions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Who you are
For the Senior Frontend Engineer following thing is required.
- While having a STEM degree is preferred, we welcome those who have acquired expertise through alternative paths.
- Seeking individuals who have experience working in a similar capacity in a well-established Engineering team and are motivated to take their career to the next level.
- Technical proficiency in at least one Frontend framework, with a preference for React.
- A proven track record of significantly impacting previous positions, setting oneself apart from peers.
- Possess a high drive and proactivity, constantly overcoming obstacles and striving for excellent results.
- Exhibits meticulousness in work maintains high standards, and demonstrates obsessive attention to detail.
