About The Team
We are seeking a Senior Developer who is detail-oriented, loves to coordinate, and is ambitious about turning data into actionable insights. They will report to Senior Manager, Analytics growth, and will play a major role in improving and supporting data collection products beyond Bell Media.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Developer jobs in Canada
Senior Developer, Data Engineering responsibilities are listed below
- Building and organizing analytics integrations through a customer data platform (CDP) and enabling data collection and ingestion which serves as the first step to reporting, data activation, and user targeting.
- Coordinating with developers all around the organization and offering technical guidance.
- Ensuring that our code is supportable and scalable by developing redundancies such as unit tests, and automated QA tests, and writing concise technical documentation.
- Investigating and improving data collection problems.
- Integrating related products such as A/B testing, consent management (CMP), data management platforms (DMP), and more.
Minimum Qualification for Senior Developer
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, etc.)
- First hands experience in developing enterprise applications applying languages such as Java, Ruby, JavaScript, Python, etc.
- Excellent communication skills and experience cooperating in a supple development environment.
- Openness to being sustainable in your role and learning new skills.
Preferred Qualifications for Senior Developer jobs in Canada
- Formal training (a degree or otherwise) in Computer science, data analytics, software development, etc.
- Proficiency in implementing analytics products (Adobe Analytics, GA360, etc.)
- Proficiency in implementing video analytics (Adobe Heartbeat, Conviva, etc.)
- Proficiency in implementing CDPs, CMPs, DMPs, and/or A/B testing products.
- Proficiency in building automated testing platforms (Selenium, Puppeteer, etc.)
- Proficiency with distributed data and cloud computing platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, (GCP), and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
