Senior Campaigns Manager, Penguin General – 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Penguin General achieved extraordinary results over the last two years, even with exceptional challenges. Our multi award-winning Communications team was central to our success, delivering sales-driving campaigns over and over again. We are now seeking a talented and experienced publicist on a fixed term contract to deliver PR campaigns on a range of new non-fiction and fiction book releases.
You’ll be a touchy member of a fun, energetic and supportive team. As well as when you Work across a range of print, digital, broadcast and podcasts, you will have a track record of securing the top PR slots. We’re looking for someone who has demonstrated their ability to obtain high profile media coverage within the world of books that helps drive sales and to strategically target publicity towards an identified audience. You will need knowledge of the media and the ability to build a network of contacts, along with experience organizing and managing events and schedules.
You’ll also need magnificent communication and relationship building skills to excel in this role – you’ll work closely with authors and build a partnership with them to enable their book to find the most readers possible, and will also get together with colleagues in editorial for marketing and sales.
