Are you looking for a new challenge and opportunity to use your digital knowledge to improve the way products are used and managed? If you’re a highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in digital products and best practice, London’s City Hall has the perfect job for you.

Senior Business Analyst in London

Requirements

The Open Project System (OPS) is the GLA’s grant and project management system, used across the GLA Group. Skills Gateway allows users to manage and report learning information and interface with the OPS system. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to join the team to support product iteration, evolution and optimization activities.

Based within the OPS Delivery Team, you will work closely with leads from across the GLA. You will play a key role in liaising with various stakeholders, so communication and influence will be key qualities to bring you into this role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge and experience of agile project delivery and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performance team.

You will be required to perform process analysis, requirements gathering, wireframing and work with developers, engineers and technical architects to translate requirements into solutions. As well as being an excellent verbal and digital communicator, the post holder will be analytical, fearless to challenge and equally comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team as well as independently.

The Digital Transformation Unit

The GLA’s newly formed Digital Transformation Unit is responsible for the delivery of all internal and external digital products and services across the GLA.

The unit is responsible for the design, delivery and management of dozens of digital, data and technology services that support the delivery of the Mayor’s and Assembly’s functions. And, in doing so, serve Londoners directly.

The GLA’s largest and most visible digital products are used by millions of Londoners every year and provide the GLA with a platform for communication, engagement, public engagement, data and information sharing and transparency. These services support delivery, scrutiny and democratic engagement at scale and at a lower cost per user than non-digital channels and services.

Role As A Senior Business Analyst in London

The role will be based at London Fire Brigade’s head office (Union Street SE1 0LL). GLA staff are hybrids who work in our offices up to 3 days a week depending on their role. As a Senior Business Analyst in London you have to divide your time between working at home and coming to the office.

We are committed to being an inclusive employer and are happy to consider flexible working arrangements. We welcome applications from candidates seeking part-time work as this role is open for recruitment.

Apart from a good salary package, we offer an attractive range of benefits including 30 days annual leave, interest free season ticket loan, interest free cycle loan and career average pension scheme.
