We are a fully remote team building a serverless database service. Our service offers auto-scaling, branches, seamless migrations, ACID transactions, a built-in search engine, analytics, and more. These features complement an excellent developer experience provided by lightweight, type-safe SDKs, a CLI tool, an intuitive and powerful user interface, and integrations with platforms such as Vercel and Netlify.

Role as Remote Senior Golang Engineer

As a remote senior Golang Engineer, your role is to be part of the initial team that

 builds the technical architecture, designs the product, and responds quickly to consumer feedback. If you seek greenfield development on a highly specialized product that you can directly influence, this is your role! We trust in well-tested and clean code, simple architectures, excellent progress, and timely technical debt resolution.

We value work-life balance and don’t watch the clock or count PRs. We evaluate productivity and quality within 3-4 months.

Requirements for Remote Senior Golang Engineer

  • Significant experience developing powerful systems-level software, preferably in Golang but also C/C, Java, and Rust.
  • Must have an experience with various cloud services, especially serverless platforms
  • Must be experienced with NoSQL database systems
  • BSc/MSc in Computer Science
