We seek a Remote IT Help desk Specialist to provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware and software by answering user questions, training users in the primary system and computer functions, resolving system and user issues, and solving problems in a timely and professional manner. The right candidate will be a team player who will deliver excellent customer service and have a reliable, solution-oriented work ethic. This role will report to the IT Administrator.
Duties for Remote IT Help desk Specialist
- Ensuring that support tickets are handled in the fastest possible manner.
- Ability to assess the severity of IT issues and resolve them accordingly.
- Understanding all standard company software and authorization ensures employees always have all the tools they need.
- Ability to deploy, configure and support operating systems on desktop and mobile devices
- We regularly evaluate our IT systems to ensure they meet the requirements.
- Solving all the problems employees have with their IT systems and software.
- Providing safe and secure data storage.
Requirements for IT Help DESK SPECIALIST
Must have at least one year of experience in a Help Desk environment
Diagnostics of technical problems.
Working knowledge and experience in office automation, including Microsoft Office 365
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, networking, IT security concepts, and best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Entrepreneurial spirit, sense of ownership, and comfortable operating in ambiguity
Solution-oriented with the ability to think strategically and creatively when making decisions.
Must have a Strong work ethic to exceed expectations and goals
Must be able to guide others and able to take direction and feedback well, yet forward-thinking to challenge the status quo
Ability to act honestly, professionally, and discreetly.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
