Responsibilities of Remote Based UX/UI Designer in USA
Your leading role as remote based UX/UI Designer in USA is to support the UX vision and strategy set by project leadership in alignment with business goals.
Build empathy with customers by collaborating with researchers, using research insights, and participating in design research to develop proven UX designs.
Imagine discovering and developing designs that solve customer experience problems recognized by your project team.
Collaborate and work as a part of a team to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that describe, communicate, and test proposed user experiences.
Review designs with Q.A. and development teams to answer questions and support successful implementation.
Communicate the design process and rationale for decisions with internal and external stakeholders.
Complete tasks efficiently and deliver on schedule as part of the wider development team.
Engage in agile processes to quickly learn and iterate on your project’s user experience.
Work within a design system, content guides, style guides, and industry best practices for delivering UX/UI experiences.
Create designs that are accessible, easy to use, and visually appealing to users.
Basic qualifications for Remote Based UX/UI Designer in USA
Bachelor’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field.
3 years of experience with applied UX design in the software industry.
Ability to provide a portfolio demonstrating your design process and deliverables.
Must possess strong skills with creative tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Sketch.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust background check, provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19, or get a medical or religious exemption as required for government contracts.
Must be physically resident in the United States and legally working here.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 Level A.A. / Section 508 preferred.
Federal contracting or healthcare I.T. experience preferred.
