As Retail Accounts Product Manager in London, you will define product strategies, develop new ideas, and refine existing Retail Accounts suggestions. You will learn about the latest developments in the retail accounts market, customer insights and broader innovations that we can learn from. In addition, you will own ongoing product management for a specific suite of accounts, as well as excel over specific retail account projects. You will guide business performance and planning, risk and customer experience management.

Depending on the team, most of our roles offer flexible working.

So what would you be doing?

•Develop a PCA product strategy based on the bank’s intentions, customer and market insights.

Develop great new ideas and improvements to existing products based on insights.

Develop a delivery roadmap to articulate and share your vision and plan while working with change and value. Working with Value Stream provides a vision and roadmap for this product

•Gain insights into your customers’ needs by gathering insights from a variety of sources, including frontline feedback, customer feedback and EODs. Improve how we gather feedback and support.

• Stay on the pulse of market, competitor, technology and customer transformation – and pass this knowledge on to the team.

 Push the bar upwards to see how we work, pointing to continuous improvement and mobility.

Start business management for your product, build a strong understanding of drivers of financial performance, work with channels and finance stakeholders to make accurate predictions.

•Effectively manage risk for your products, be clear on applicable behavioral risks, and how you will understand, track and control it for your product set. Make sure the product governance process is followed.

 Build strong relationships between the entire team, your key stakeholder groups and the senior team.

Work with stores and telephone banking to ensure that partners are equipped to communicate and process your product.

• You will have product management experience inside or outside current accounts.

•You will have experience developing strategies and / or products.

You will understand customer needs, insights and distribution. You will have experience from initial insights, to idea development and delivery.

You will have experience working with Value Stream Delivery, either as a Business Owner or as a Product Owner.

You will have leadership experience and will have confidence in communicating openly and honestly, building relationships at senior level and using different styles of influence.

•You will have strong business management and analytical skills, specialize in business dealings, analyze using a variety of sources and make accurate predictions.

• You will be confident in decision making and problem solving, making sure that you take into account different perspectives when assessing and controlling the risk.

You will be a strong communicator, able to solve complex topics and suggest simple and practical solutions.

You will have experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues in product management practices, which will go a long way.

You will need to be able to plan ahead as well as prioritize and manage your time.
