Job Description of Operations Manager job
The Operations Manager is accountable for maintaining the Store Manager in the total leadership and strategic function of a CVS/pharmacy store including:
Overall store support, analysis, and policy implementation
Sales and inventory administration
Employee training, staffing, training, and growth.
Economical management
User service mentorship
Unlike the Store Manager in the practice position, the Operations Manager job is not part of the CVS/pharmacy Retail Management Improvement Program. Operations Managers are not qualified for direct promotion to Store Manager. Candidates with a short-term objective of becoming a CVS Store Manager should instead apply for Store Manager in Training openings.
Key Functions:
Management
- Lead others and work proactively with store crews
- Analyze, allocate and monitor the activities of the store’s crew.
- Proactively communicate information to the store team and supervisors in an open and timely manner.
- Support Store Manager with actions plans for operational and service development.
- Customer Service.
- Analyze customers with queries, issues, and complaints.
- Upgrade CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank).
Pay Range of Operation Manager job
The average pay range for this role is:
- Minimum: $ 17.00
- Maximum: $ 29.00
Please consider that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a broad range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning potential, advanced computer skills, and analytical skills.
Advanced communication skills, supervision, leadership, and influencing skills
Potential to work a full-time flexible schedule, adding some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as required, and to respond to urgent problems at the store when they arise
