Job Description of Java Cloud Engineer
- Participate in building application architecture documents to offer deliverables in line with architectural needs.
- Java Cloud Engineers role is to Create design artifacts and maintain prototyping through the creation of POCs.
- Provide high-quality code deliverables and support peers in quality checks to fulfill design needs. Create customer documentation for the assigned modules.
- Monitor validation activities for the assigned modules for all types of testing, e.g., Operational, upgradation, System, Customer proficiency, etc.
- Demonstrate the creation of the “Go Live” plan and support assigned activities in the program.
- Perform root-cause analysis of any problems that arise.
- Post-implementation and work on appropriate solutions.
- Takes Knowledge Transfer sessions, formulates system appreciation documents and supports the transition process.
- This vacancy is in North Carolina.
Candidates may be either situated within North Carolina or work remotely from any location within the United States.
This job will need to travel to the project location.

Required Qualifications of Java Cloud Engineer
- Graduate’s degree or foreign similar required from an accredited institution.
- I will also consider three years of progressive Proficiency in the specialty instead of every year of education.
- Java Cloud Engineers must have a minimum of at least four years of Information Technology proficiency.
- At least three years of Proficiency in OOPS and Core Java.
- Must have Proficiency and good experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes-related container orchestration instruments and cloud platform skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Java Cloud Engineers must have Proficiency in understanding Web Services, REST APIs, JSP, and Javascript.
- Must have Proficiency with any enterprise web server, ideally Websphere or JBoss.
- Proficiency in U.I. Technologies like Angularjs/ReactJS and HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
- Must have Proficiency in any one major infrastructure like Spring or Struts.
- Must have an excellent understanding of Agile software development infrastructure.
- Excellent communication and Analytical skills
- Potential to work in teams in a versatile, multi-shareholder environment comprising Business and Technology teams.
- Must have Proficiency and desire to work in a universal delivery environment.
