JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Operational IT Manager, this role’s primary responsibility is to support the business systems employees use at d&b Solutions. Looking for an IT Technician in London who will maintain and install new IT hardware and applications and provide day-to-day IT support for the business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of IT Technician in London:
• Deployment and maintenance of IT equipment related to business information systems and applications, including digital display screens, tablets, data capture, laptops and other devices.
• Setting up new users on various IT applications used in the business
Ensuring that the department’s hardware is in good working order and any problems or malfunctions are dealt with promptly.
•Periodically check on the IT infrastructure within the company.
Installation and testing of external hardware/software to interface with core business systems
• Proactively resolving issues with internal teams and external contractors to ensure successful and timely resolution.
• Help with IT administration today
• Working directly with IT providers as needed
•Aware of health and safety policies, risk assessment, and proactive implementation.
•Deal with daily IT support tickets.
• Support the development of customer applications.

Skills and Experience for IT Technician in London:
•Ability to install IT infrastructure in our buildings.
Technical Skills Proven IT skills, including use of Microsoft Office 365 Admin Center (Word, Excel, Access applications and PowerPoint). Must operate internal email system and electronic diary.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platforms. For example, Power Apps, Power BI and Power Automate.
• Understanding of SQL databases.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting issues with Microsoft Windows.
• Ability to identify gaps in our systems (both software and hardware).
Attention to detail and accuracy
• Deadline conscious and organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Appropriate personal presentation with a confident and friendly manner
•Ability to communicate and communicate effectively, relate to others, and work as a member of a broader team
• Willing and flexible approach with the ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent time management and planning skills, forward-thinking and able to add value.
