Responsibilities-IT Support Specialist Job
- As an IT Support Specialist, you have to provide telephone and desk-side problem-resolution support for all corporate users of computers
- You must learn all internal business applications and provide general PC/Network support and general application support to a distributed user base.
- You have to be the initial contact for troubleshooting hardware/software PC and printer problems.
- Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate desktop computer hardware, software, and configuration issues.
- Find out, troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate problems related to the local area network
- Maintain Log all calls and activities in a tracking system.
- You have to handle special projects and additional duties.

Qualification
- Must have 3-5 years of experience in performing level one help desk support working as part of a corporate help desk/IT team.
- You must have a Basic Technical Certification
- Strong customer service, with good follow-through skills required
- Working experience with networking technologies
- Working experience with network voice and data cabling.
- Always ready to work well with others in a team environment requiring minimal supervision.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills
- Completed Bachelor’s degree
