IT Support Engineer – Sunderland – £23,000 to £25,000

We have partnered with an experienced manufacturer looking for an IT Support Engineer in UK to join their established core team.

This role will allow the successful IT Support Engineer to expand upon an existing background in IT. Within this role, you will provide first and second-line support to the head office and onsite support to their two factories within 5 miles of their headquarters.

Within this IT Support Engineer role, you’ll be expected to work almost as an IT generalist, meaning you won’t be sitting behind a desk all day. This role will require you to work with all aspects of IT, such as software/hardware support, server maintenance and monitoring, analytical work using SQL, data storing, network, and development. To name a few.

Experience And Skills For IT Support Engineer:

–    Commercial experience in an IT support or technical support environment

– Service Desk or Desktop Support experience

– Microsoft Desktop Services – Windows 7 and Windows 8/10

– Office 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and OneDrive

– Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.

– On-premise server monitoring and maintenance

– Business knowledge and understanding of Active Directory and SQL

-Full clean UK driving license and own transport
