JOB DESCRIPTION
IT Support Engineer required for a permanent role, salary £27-32K + benefits for my client based in Guildford. My client is looking for a knowledgeable Support Engineer to join their team. You will work partly in the office and partly at customer sites, depending on business needs. Sites are usually within walking distance, and overnight stays are rare. Working hours are standard. However, two weeks out of 12, you will work the early shift (7:30 am-4 pm) 1 week on call is also required. In 8 (extra charge required), however, the incidence is very rare.

Skills Required for It Support Engineer:
“Previous experience in a similar role.” Full Clean Driver’s License.” All versions of Windows and Office.” TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy.” Networking Management, Infrastructure Cabling and Patching.” Security/Firewall.” Troubleshooting PC, Laptop and Printer Software and Hardware.” Basic client-facing skills required: “vSphere/Esxi 5/6.” Veeam Backup / Replication.” SQL Database & SSIS.
