JOB DESCRIPTION It Support Analyst in Uk
We are looking for an It Support Analyst in Uk to provide technical support to head office/home workers, branches and other group companies and maintain corporate infrastructure in collaboration with service providers. This is a highly varied role. It Support Analyst in Uk will work primarily on his own initiative. Able to investigate and resolve issues as well as provide day-to-day operations such as hardware movements and installations.
Responsibilities of It Support Analyst in Uk:
* Act as a single point of contact, troubleshooting IT-related issues with software and hardware, such as laptops, PCs, Macs and printers.
*Active Directory and Office365 administration ensure appropriate access to systems for qualified individuals * Liaising with support companies around third-line support, telephony and other service providers. * Maintaining departmental documentation such as asset database for IT inventory * Provision of new equipment such as laptops Installing new starters with correct applications * Basic networking such as implementing patch panels and checking desktop connectivity
* Setup and management of printers * Management of daily backups * Office moves, installation and setup of equipment etc. as required Business knowledge and skills * Excellent communication skills, able to support non-technical people over the telephone in sometimes urgent situations. * Good knowledge of Active Directory, Office365, Shared Folders and Microsoft Servers. Knowledge of Linux is desirable but not essential. * Comfortable providing remote support through remote access tools such as TeamViewer * Administration of telephone systems, configuring extensions, etc.
* Understanding of networks, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPNs, and port forwarding * Anti Experience with viruses and common desktop toolsets Candidate Profile * At least 3 years in an IT support role * Own car and ability to travel to retail locations as needed (travel is not frequent) * Calm, professional and Sensible attitude * Self-starter able to work on own initiative and develop ways to further contribute to business success.
