Responsibilities of IT Software Engineer Manager

• Build the roadmap and overall management of a tech portfolio of products.
• Cooperate with software engineers to assess, grow, and test functional needs.
• Work with team members to investigate design accesses, prototype new technology, and analyze technical feasibility.
• Create current applicable services to a microservice architecture.
• Work in a smooth/Safe/Scrum environment to provide high-quality software against aggressive schedules.
• IT Software Engineer Manager’s role is to establish architectural rules, select design patterns, and then guide team members on their proper application.
• Lead engineering/architect accesses for creating on Google/Azure Cloud.
• Facilitate and direct communication between front-end engineers, back-end, and partner teams such as Product and Experience Design (XD).
• Create a culture of functional and Engineering Excellence.

Required Technology proficiency

• Working proficiency with EPIC MyChart integrations such as DataTiles or Web Services.
• Understanding professional software engineering training and best practices for the complete software development life cycle (SDLC), including code reviews, coding standards, source control management, build procedures, testing, and operations.
• IT Software Engineer Manager must have Proficiency in defining and administering Continuous upgradation / Continuous Delivery strategies.
• Ability to enable Feature Flagging, A/B testing, Blue Green, and Canary Deployments.
• Proficiency in establishing and nursing procedures for Unit testing, Test Automation, Monitoring, Site reliability engineering, and Application Security.
• Ability to work with or create a Design System for Front-End proficiencies.

Remote Technical Support Engineer jobs in the USA

Preferred Technology Experience of IT Software Engineer Manager:

• Proficient in one of the following as well as strong proficiency in at least two or more others.
• Continuous upgradation applying Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines.
• IT Software Engineer Manager must have proficiency with distributed databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Must have the ability with instruments like Jira, GitHub, SharePoint, Azure Boards, etc. React, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, and GraphQL

Qualifications of IT Software Engineer Manager

Graduate degree with six years of proficiency, which includes two years of significant leadership proficiency; Or Associated Degree with eight years of command, which consists of two years of considerable leadership proficiency and commitment to achieve a Bachelor’s degree within four years. 

Additional qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred with four years of proficiency.
• Proficiency working in healthcare technology.
•  Ability to demonstrate both vendor-supplied and custom-developed products and services. 
• Experience in vendor management and negotiations. Some travel will need in this role.
