As an IT service desk manager, you will lead service desk IT support, ensuring that KPIs are achieved, performance reviews, coaching, and team development. Within this, you will ensure that technical expertise is shared within the service desk team, in order to promote a high level of customer service.

In your role as a service desk manager, you will analyze tickets, statistics, and trends, providing daily, weekly, monthly and yearly reports on performance. In addition, you will identify opportunities to provide active support to the business to reduce the number of tickets received by the service desk.

You will manage high-profile important or complex events as needed and provide updates to management and users where necessary. Finally, you will start and maintain a strong and active working relationship with the user community. It should include regular meetings and working groups to fully understand the individual needs of the department.

 What You Need To Succeed

Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills Great experience managing a busy service desk team. Experienced managing events, major events, and issues using the ITIL Service Management Framework. Best Supplier and Customer Management Skills Experience writing high-quality reports that provide appropriate statements and guide data-driven decisions. Experience in creating accurate and user-friendly supporting articles and documents to help users resolve events and service requests themselves Orientation and work knowledge:

IT Service Desk Manager

Azure Active Directory, Microsoft M365, O365, and service management system. Understanding best practices in cybersecurity Ability to assist users using the Microsoft Windows environment, including fully functional desktops, laptops, and other endpoints. ITIL attains training with a good level of working knowledge about its methods.
