Purpose
The ideal candidate(It Security Engineer in London) will work collaboratively across the EMEA region and assist in designing and implementing IT security systems, developing best practice security procedures, and administering incident response between security and the rest of the business partners. I will be comfortable supporting relationships.
Key Responsibilities of IT Engineer:
Respond to and triage security incidents.
Act as an IT security subject matter expert point of contact for the rest of technology and the broader business.
Be flexible to assist with a wide range of security disciplines where support from the wider team is required.
As an It Security Engineer in London Implement technology changes and control those changes, working with project managers to document and support those changes.
Continuously seek opportunities to develop IT security skills.
Continually develop industry best practice capabilities and processes for the team.
Qualifications/Experience for IT security Engineer:
For It Security Engineer in London you have Knowledge of standard networking protocols (SSH, SCP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, DNS).
Solid understanding of application and infrastructure logging, alerts, and core security technologies such as SIEMs, Proxy, Firewalls, EDR, and MSSP.
Awareness of OWASP Top 10 and CWE25.
IT security experience
Experience with incident response
Intuitive problem solver
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, Direct Connect, and EBS.
