Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per year.

Job type: Full Time – Permanent. 37.5 hours per week. Hybrid working role with at least three days at home.

The role As A It Manager:

At Dell Power Solutions, we rely on our IT systems to ‘power solutions’ that drive business functions and objectives.

We are looking for an experienced It Manager in Scarborough to join us on this journey, using his technical skills to make us more efficient. You will lead and motivate the IT team towards crucial business objectives in this role. You will also own basic projects around IT solutions and system upgrades. From day one, you will have a speedy effect on the performance of our IT operations.

Duties and Requirements:

To meet key business objectives, lead and motivate the IT team, and prioritize workloads for team members.

We are maintaining necessary IT infrastructure and operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, email systems, laptops, desktops, software and hardware.

Owning critical business systems such as ERP/MRP, Field Service, CRM, HR, Accounts, Document Management, Communication Systems, Office365 projects, solutions, and key responsibilities, pre-existing mobile solutions within a significant business initiative.

Handling business-critical IT tasks and system administration.

They support business departments and colleagues, Creating reports and customizations that meet their department and business needs.

Research and review of emerging technologies, hardware and software.

Track and maintain inventory of hardware and software.

We are managing IT vendors, suppliers, contractors, contracts and licensing.

Analyze department needs to inform business decisions, identify weaknesses, and increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.

They ensure that network components meet requirements and work together seamlessly, using full capabilities and staying abreast of new features and competing solutions.

Continuously analyzing current processes, technologies and vendors to identify areas for improvement.

Prepare and manage annual IT budget and capital expenditures.

Preparing business case/cost-benefit analysis reports when necessary upgrades, continuously analyzing vendors to ensure they offer the best possible service and value for the Company’s needs.

We train employees on software and hardware, troubleshoot, and provide necessary technical support.

Developing and implementing disaster procedures, maintaining data backups, IT policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements for IT Manager:

Qualifications/Recognitions –

HND or equivalent in IT-related subject.

Experience and Knowledge –

At least five years of experience in an IT management role.

Experience or knowledge of programming languages ​​and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems).

Expertise in implementing, configuring and testing solutions.

Experience working in an SME environment.

Project delivery experience.

Skills and Abilities –

Ability to lead and motivate a team.

He has a proven ability to deliver IT projects.

Practical and solution-focused.

Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.

Good organizational skills, time management and ability to multitask and prioritize meeting goals and deadlines.
