We are a leading IT service provider in the education sector. We are looking for an It Manager in England to manage this core role, supporting IT within one of our partners in the Harrow area.

It’s a stimulating time to join CTS, a company that puts engineering expertise first. An IT Manager is one of the main roles within our partner schools and leads to the success of our managed IT service delivery.

We are looking for a manager with some background in supporting substantial infrastructure and networks utilizing Microsoft technologies. As a It Manager in England, you will work daily with a team of dedicated professionals in an educational environment. You will also get external support from our experienced seniors who are never away, either remotely or as a planned site visit. Working as a valued member of the CTS team, you will have ample opportunity to advance your career in education while primarily involved in administration and troubleshooting in a Microsoft environment.

You will be running the help desk onsite daily and providing first and second-line support working with the customer, so the experience is also a must.

Responsibilities as a IT Manager In England:

Running the service desk and resolving 1st-2nd line support calls and ensuring that your team members handle all calls.

• Support and maintain infrastructure within the school/college to ensure maximum uptime
• Ensuring you keep senior engineers and the CTS Help Desk team aware of any issues that need to be raised and escalated – we’re looking for It Manager in England who can, but someone who is Looking for someone equally willing to move on.
• Working with your account manager and senior engineer
• Support and manage critical infrastructure projects in partnership with your CTS Senior Engineer.
• You will be the interface between the client and us – the face of CTS within the school.
• You will manage your team’s daily workload, ensuring you get the best out of them.

The successful candidate should have a good education and sufficient relevant experience. Prior experience in an academic environment is desirable but not required.
