Responsibilities-IT Help Desk Technician Job

• As an IT Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the service by connecting with employees professionally.
• You must ensure that all problems are adequately mentioned in documents and assigned to a technical support ticketing system.
• Must give priority to the technicians in the field requiring remote assistance
• You have to manage, track and give solutions to reported issues.
• Capable of handling the repairing hardware/software issues as required
• Maintain selected software and hardware products
• You have to analyze and document findings for use in the knowledge base.
• Cooperate with service vendors to make sure the continuity of service
• Keep yourself aware of the latest developments in information technology.
• Must Incorporate Alta’s Guiding Principles into routine activities
• You have to perform other duties as assigned.
• Sometimes you have to work overtime as required.

Desired Skills

• You must have an Associate degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• One or more years of experience as a computer specialist needed
• Must have a Current A+ Certification
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• You must have great decisive nature and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Superb time management skills with the ability to multitask
• Highly Organized and detail-oriented
• Experience in Windows applications, Microsoft Office, and Linux 
• You must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Capable of handling practical problems and dealing with a variety of concrete variables in situations
