IT Engineer
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (Experience Dependant)
Location: Carlisle – Covering Cumbria & SW Scotland
Job type: Permanent & Full-Time
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business IT support company based in Carlisle. You will cover the Cumbria region, particularly in an on-site reactive role for well-established commercial clients.
Responsibilities as IT Engineer in Uk:
Working on installation and migration projects
As an IT Engineer in Uk, you have Hands-on knowledge of server hardware
Configuration tasks and operating backup systems
Microsoft Server Operating System
Server hardware maintenance
Microsoft 365
VOIP / Hosted Telephony
Virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMWare etc.)
Unifi Wireless equipment
Network cabling
VPN Networking
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Occasional office-based duties include solving IT queries and issues via remote and 1st line support.
Skills and Experience Required for IT Engineer in Uk:
For IT Engineer in Uk, you have Experienced having worked in a 3rd line support role is essential
Problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills
Good knowledge of IP networking
Excellent hardware, software, and network knowledge is required
You must hold a valid driving license and be prepared to travel throughout the Cumbria region.
