Knowledge of WAN/LAN, network, and server technologies. Knowledge of NHS IT systems

Skills Required for IT Desktop Support Technician in Uk:
Educated to degree level in an IT-related subject or equivalent industry standard IT qualification such as CAN, CNE, MCP, MCSE, CompTIA or equivalent qualification or relevant experience Microsoft qualification or equivalent.
Desirable
Competency or working knowledge of ITIL v3 concepts

Previous experience working in a customer service environment Experience analyzing, diagnosing and resolving complex IT system problems Previous experience in first or second-line technical support Previous experience using service desk/help desk software Experience with imaging and patching technologies
Highly qualified in an IT-related subject Experience in supporting IT within the NHS setting person specification
