IT Desktop Support Engineer in Uk 

Role as IT Desktop Support Engineer in Uk:

Our internal IT support team plays an essential role in a fast-paced and challenging environment, keeping the business running daily. We are seeking an enthusiastic, communicative, and driven individual to serve as a IT Desktop Support Engineer in Uk, attending multiple locations within the firm every week. This will involve daily rotation between our Romford (team hub), Redhill, St Albans, West End, and Heathrow offices.

IT Desktop Support Engineer in Uk 

This person will work in a completely new role and will be the team’s only dedicated IT Desktop Support Engineer in Uk. They will maintain all desktop hardware at the sites, ensuring all desks function properly and meeting room equipment is functional. There may be rare occasions when immediate IT attendance is required at a particular site.

This role has been working on a rotation of sites each week for the first three months, visiting a different site each day; these sites are:

– Red Mountain

— Romford

– West Bank

-St Albans

– Heathrow

After probation, this will become a hybrid role, with three full days of site attendance per week on rotation with two days working.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities as IT Desktop Support Engineer in Uk:

-Visits to all MKS sites (ex. ​​City) every week

– Short notice site visit if required.

-To configure and support a variety of IT hardware around the firm

– To maintain and support all IT hardware at all MKS sites

Adhering to IT processes and day-to-day operations

Skills and experience required to assist with projects and additional tasks:

Good knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, and desktop/laptop imaging

Experience working in an agile and fast-paced IT environment.

– Knowledge of Active Directory / Azure Active Directory and Exchange

– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Technically competent, able to demonstrate excellent troubleshooting skills

1-2 years minimum experience in IT support

– Valid UK driving license

Must visit: IT Support Engineer

Required skills

– Experience working in a professional services environment

Experience with accountancy applications and worksite DMS

Experience working within the ITIL framework.
