CGI is looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and capable IT Asset Manager in UK to join. Suppose you have a creative understanding of what drives business success and a knack for unpacking problems and modelling innovative solutions. In that case, a digital revolution is underway in the UK, and it needs your help.

Our extended team is based in the UK. We are looking for someone interested in helping to develop and grow CGI’s asset management operation in the UK and Australia.

You will be very motivated, take good initiative, have Good communication skills and have a flexible approach. It would help if you were willing to learn and develop your understanding of licensing across many different vendors. SITAM will need to work effectively with external (such as vendors) and internal (such as team and management) stakeholders, tight timelines and competing priorities and demands.

This role is only available if you hold or meet the criteria to obtain a UK security clearance.

Responsibilities of IT Asset Manager in UK:

Work effectively with other teams and functions, including Procurement and Global ITAM.

As IT Asset Manager in UK you will Help manage UK IT asset management mailboxes.

Support software compliance within the UKA organization.

Drive process and system improvements to improve asset data quality and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the ITAM process.

As IT Asset Manager in UK Maintain data within the Flexera system by ensuring it is up-to-date and accurate.

Create and implement remediation plans based on audit findings.

Participate in service provider resolution exercises to optimize technology and license costs.

Review POs for compliance with solution requirements.

Report and perform regular GAP analysis to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.

Oversee action plans to minimize exposure and litigation.

Track and help drive various ongoing and new programs and projects in the ITAM area.

Perform financial analysis, contract review and utilization reporting, and suggest opportunities for more efficient use of investments in IT assets.

Additional responsibilities include analyzing data trends, ensuring process refinement for IT asset management functions, incorporating new processes and driving cross-program initiatives regarding people engagement. Maybe.

Ability to apply a project management approach to problem-solving (taking a significant, complex problem, breaking it down into components, involving others as needed, driving resolution)

Qualifications required for IT Asset Manager in UK 

People and process coordination

For the post of IT Asset Manager in UK you have the ability to make process improvements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Subject matter expert in IT asset management and software compliance

Working knowledge of at least 2 key publishers’ licensing metrics.

Understanding the licensing metrics of various publishers

Knowledge of Flexera, FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS).

Broad understanding of technologies

An advantage is industry certification, such as Certified IT Asset Manager in UK (CITAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Management (CHAMP).

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel)

Track record of driving automation and innovative approaches to reduce human effort.
