Responsibilities:
- Perform manual software testing that is context- and risk-driven.
- Test in accordance with client test methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, BDD, etc)
- To record test cases, faults, and the outcomes of test case execution, use defect tracking and test case management systems.
- Work directly with project stakeholders, including business and outside vendors, and communicate with them about faults and the order of importance for testing operations.
- Take the functional or business requirements and extract the testing requirements, then turn them into test cases.
- Produce thorough test cases, test plans, and test status reports.
Qualifications:
- A degree in computer science, an engineering degree, or comparable professional experience
- 5+ years of experience as a software quality assurance analyst, with knowledge of creating test cases and test data, executing tests and reporting on results.
- People with experience utilizing the Unity development framework will be given preference.
- Working on front-end and back-end web apps for at least a year
- Those having some experience in service-level API testing will be given preference (SoapUI, Postman, Katalon, etc)
- Experience using test management technologies like ALM/QC, JIRA, and gTest for three or more years
- Testing certification from the ISTQB or from a comparable institution is viewed positively.
- SQL query writing skills
- excellent communication skills in both writing and spoken
