- Resolves technical issues and responds to queries by telephone in support of internal and outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, rectifies, isolates, and analyses problems utilizing historical database records.
- May route calls to product line specialists.
Updates and supports tracking records databases—alerts management to recurring issues and patterns of problems.

Basic Qualifications of Help Desk Technical Support 2
- Must have an Associate’s Degree and one year of proficiency.
- IT Can substitute Help Desk Support technicians with similar professional certification can be substituted for an Associate’s Degree.
