We seek an imaginative, self-motivated designer who thrives on creative challenges and enjoys working collaboratively.
The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with various teams within the company to develop and deliver exceptional work that aligns with the Watco brand. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home and the Overland Park office alongside the marketing team.
The Creative Director will be the Graphic Designer’s direct supervisor.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
For getting the Graphic designer Job candidate has to fulfill the following responsibilities.
- Create visual designs and layouts for both print and digital platforms.
- Generate creative concepts, present them, and refine them based on feedback.
- Collaborate with various teams to produce digital, print, and video projects.
- Uphold brand guidelines and ensure brand standards are met.
- Possess strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with project teams and execute assigned creative and design projects.
- Establish and maintain a precise file management system.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of imagery and presentation needs in PowerPoint.
- Pay close attention to detail.
Skills and Knowledge
- Possess a firm grasp of design and web best practices and guidelines.
- Have experience in brand development and multichannel marketing
- Capable of storyboarding, visualizing, and effectively communicating concepts to others
- Able to educate others on fundamental design concepts and an overachiever in design and creative production
- Ability to juggle multiple projects with various project owners, prioritize effectively, and deliver results
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.
- Familiarity with Word Press
- Knowledge of animation is a bonus.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Require at least five years of experience in design and branding with an impressive portfolio.
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field
- Must possess expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Possess a creative vision and the ability to bring it to life.
- Must have an obsession with details, maintaining both high-quality standards and efficient execution
- A blend of agency and in-house experience is preferred but optional.
