American Canning is experiencing rapid growth and actively seeking a highly skilled In-House Graphic Designer to join our team. If you have 2-4 years of experience in the field, this is an exciting opportunity for you.

As a Graphic Designer, you will collaborate closely with our marketing team to develop captivating and consistent digital assets and print materials that align with our brand identity.

By leveraging your visual storytelling and design principles expertise, you will play a vital role in educating customers, driving conversions, and enhancing brand recognition.
While remote work is an option after the initial training period, you will be on-site 2-3 days weekly to foster teamwork and collaboration.

What will you do?

Being a Graphic Designer, you have to do the following things.

1. Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
2. Gather content from stakeholders to effectively and timely execute design projects.
3. Present design concepts to Creative Director and Marketing leadership, incorporating feedback and making necessary iterations.
4. Manage print projects from inception to completion, including the preparation of press-ready files and coordination with print vendors.
5. Maintain brand standards and visual coherence throughout all designs.
6. Contribute actively to marketing campaign creativity and execution, staying updated on design and marketing trends and bringing innovative ideas to the table.

What is required?

For the Graphic Designer post following things are required.

1. Possess a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
2. Showcase an impressive portfolio that demonstrates exceptional typography skills, robust brand design, and proficiency in layout hierarchy.
3. Familiarity with Figma is preferred, and experience with Webflow, After Effects, and E-commerce CMS platforms is a bonus.
4. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the skill to effectively convey design concepts to team members and stakeholders.
5. Strong organizational skills and the capability to handle many projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
6. Must be eligible to work in the United States and be willing to reside near Austin, TX.
