Led by international development objectives, the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) provides the UK government’s Commonwealth scholarship scheme. Since 1960, the CSC has funded more than 30,000 individuals to study in the UK,  acquire knowledge, gain skills, and build networks to tackle global development challenges.

Eligibility Criteria for Fully Funded UK Scholarships under Commonwealth Program:

You must meet HEC Eligibility To apply for these scholarships, in addition to the CSC requirements mentioned below:

• Be a Pakistani/AJ&K permanent and national resident of Pakistan/AJ&K. Students having Dual nationals are not eligible​.
• For a Ph.D. scholarship, a student must hold a first-class degree in relevant postgraduate qualification (17/18 years Masters/MPhil degree/MS) in the relevant field of study by the closing date of the HEC application portal.
• Applicant must not have Second/Third division in the terminal/last degree.
•  Result awaiting candidates should wait for their results and are also not eligible to apply.
• All applicants are required to provide HAT test scores. 
• A score of 60 out of 100 on the HAT test score is required for applicants.
•  Those applicants may upload the test result on the HEC portal for consideration. who have taken the HAT test on or after January 01, 2022,
• ETC is accepting applications for the HAT test till October 11, 2022.​
• ​Candidates applying for fully Funded UK Scholarships under the Commonwealth Program Teaching faculty must have experience of a minimum of 12 months as a regular/contract permanent faculty member (not as a visiting or Adhoc appointment)

To apply for these scholarships:

• By the start of the UK academic year in September 2023, be available to start your academic studies in the UK 
• The applicant has to fulfill his/her intended university requirement, As there is no requirement for IELTS. 
• No age limit for masters as well as Ph.D.
• Without this scholarship unable to afford to study in the UK.
• For any stuff, you are currently studying (with certified translations if not in English), provide full transcripts detailing all your higher education qualifications, including to-date transcripts – uploaded to the online application system.
•  From at least two individuals provide references. Get a reference letter or recommendation (Free template)
• From a proposed supervisor in the UK provide a supporting statement from at least one of the institutions named on your application form.
• Applicants for Ph.D. studies must have the consent of acceptance from their supervisor
• Issued by the supervisor a statement of acceptance must be attached to the online application.
