Character Overview:
This is an opportunity to join a Value Added Reseller / Systems Integrator as a First Line IT Support Apprentice. You will likely be working in tight timescales, so you must be able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. You may also be required to travel as part of your role. This apprenticeship will require dedicated and focused individuals who are fully committed to their studies. This is a fantastic opportunity that will require successful candidates to be fully committed to their learning and developing their skill set.
Primary responsibilities of First Line IT Support Apprentice:
Logging calls to the help desk
Answering customer queries and learning customer IT systems
Assisting the IT Help Desk Manager in providing first and second-line help desk support
Installation, maintenance, and management of computer equipment and associated software, telecom, and audiovisual systems
You will become familiar with the following technologies:
Windows 7
Server 2012
Exchange Server
HyperV Virtualization
Office
Cloud Services
Networking, storage

- Having a full driving license as well as your own car would be very beneficial as, eventually, you will be working in 2 or more locations – which will be confirmed at the interview.
- Entry Requirements:
- The following are the enrollment requirements for this Azure Cloud Support Specialist program:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4+ (A-C) in any subject
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at grade 3+ (D or above)
- Prospective apprentices should not have existing qualifications at the same or higher level as the apprenticeship is in a similar subject.
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience that demonstrate the minimum foundation required for the program. In this instance, you may still be considered for the program.
If you hold the international equivalent of the above qualifications, you must be able to provide an official document at the time of your application showing how your international qualifications compare to UK qualifications. are
