Snelling Business Systems is a global audio-visual systems integrator, providing award-winning installations and support to a diverse portfolio of clients. The company wants to hire a finance assistant in Norfolk based on its purpose-built warehouse, assembly and office facilities in Wokingham.
The company, part of the Snellings Group, has been well-established since 1954 and has a reputation for providing excellent customer service.
The finance assistant in Norfolk will be part of a small financial team, whose primary responsibility is accounts payable duty.
Responsibilities as Finance Assistance:
- Processing of supplier invoices, preparation of bi-monthly payments and reconciliation of supplier accounts on SAP accounting system,
- Submit and process staff monthly expenses and credit card claims
- Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts, cash and credit card records,
- Collect and process staff weekly time sheets and overtime records,
- Keep a record of staff absences,
- Monitor corporate mobile phone accounts, including staff distribution
- Assist the management team in receiving calls on the switchboard, redirecting calls, receiving messages and dealing with necessary questions.
Person specification as Finance Assistant:
- You have At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role,
- Experience in Accounting Systems (SAP Business One), Microsoft applications and general IT usage,
- Must be able to perform multi-tasks with excellent organizational and time management skills.
