The role
As an Engineering Manager, you have to play the following roles:
We’re seeking a motivated and talented Engineering Manager to join our US-based Engineering team.
As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll collaborate closely with product managers and designers to develop practical solutions that address real-world problems for both internal and external customers.
In this role, you’ll oversee both the technical and people-related aspects of your teams, acting as both a career and technical mentor to your developers.
Your primary focus will be ensuring technical excellence, removing obstacles to maximize output, and reporting progress and needs to other departments.
As an engineering manager, you’ll need to be able to code and optimize as well as teach your team to do the same. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders to determine the optimal solution, see immediate results, and receive user feedback.

What you’ll do
As an Engineering Manager, you will do the given things:
- Led and oversaw a team of software engineers, with responsibilities including task planning and code reviews.
- Take technical ownership of, and typically build, large areas of the product and service ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify business requirements and ensure that the team is focused on solving the most critical problems to benefit the business.
- Uphold high standards and promote sustainable engineering practices within the group.
- Mentor and support the growth of team members both technically and professionally.
- Embrace agile methodologies to enable rapid and efficient delivery.

- Highly motivated and proactive with a relentless drive for excellent outcomes.
- Obsessively meticulous with high standards for work performance.
- The Candidate has at least two years of managerial experience and five years of professional experience in software development.
- Passion for mentoring team members, including code reviews and tech talks.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely, and you can choose from the following work settings:
- The position is based in New York, NY, and requires in-office work.
- Remote work is an option but only available to those who have or will have a permanent address in NY, NJ, PA, CT, NC, GA, FL, or TX.
- This position’s fixed annual base salary is between $170,000 to $195,000.
