As the Director of Marketing at rSTAR, you will be pivotal in guiding and inspiring our marketing team. Your leadership will drive our marketing activities, ensuring they align with our overall sales objectives and contribute to achieving our lead and sales goals.
The candidate should develop and implement our marketing strategy, oversee targeted campaigns for specific industries, and coordinate tactical efforts to enhance our market position and attract new clients.
As a Director of Marketing Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will shape our marketing vision, strategy, and tactics, while effectively managing both onshore and offshore marketing teams and external vendors.
Your primary focus will be devising, executing, and refining the marketing strategy for rSTAR, particularly on sales enablement, lead generation, demand generation, partner marketing, and multi-touch account-based marketing.
Working closely with the Client Engagement team and leadership across various sectors, you will create and implement compelling marketing campaigns that distinguish rSTAR from our competitors and increase customer awareness of our services and solutions.
Reporting directly to the VP of Client Engagement, you will be instrumental in developing marketing plans that align with our business strategy and target the specific needs of our customers and prospects.
As a Director of Marketing, you must fulfill the following responsibilities.
- Create and execute an annual marketing plan that outlines deadlines, budgets, and expected results for marketing qualified leads generated by the Client Engagement team.
- Provide analytical and quantitative data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of existing marketing media activities.
- Oversee the rSTAR brand and ensure that all written and visual content, including blogs, social posts, newsletters, collateral, and press releases, aligns with our brand aesthetic and standards and remains consistent with our desired voice in the marketplace.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of customer research, current market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, partners, and vendors.
- Lead and manage both offshore and onshore marketing team members.
- Develop and execute brand-building and demand-generation activities for new and existing services across various propositions, industries, and customers.
- Execute various marketing activities, such as events, web, social media, PR, document creation (brochures, whitepapers, datasheets, infographics), webinars, and video production.
- Prepare and manage quarterly budgets for each campaign as a Director of Marketing.
- Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to enhance brand awareness in existing, new, and target customers to drive revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends, potential client behavior, and analyst views and translate them into key messages and marketing activities aligned with specific company offers.
- Set, monitor, and report on campaign objectives and progress.
- Maintain accurate data and list segmentation of critical clients to produce effective campaigns.
- Use HubSpot and Salesforce to produce dashboards and reports and track inbound and outbound marketing-qualified leads.
- Develop and track key KPIs, metrics, and campaign ROI to continually improve marketing performance.
As a Director of Marketing, you must need the following qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years of prior experience in Marketing or Business Development, with accountability for campaign performance and team management.
- Mandatory experience in marketing for SIs (System Integrators), IT Services and Consulting, or IT Professional Services organizations.
- Strong analytical skills to assess marketing performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Critical thinker with problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
- Preference for candidates with experience in marketing for Professional Services/Consulting organizations.
- Understanding and experience in account-based and partner marketing.
- Proficiency in using marketing and analytics tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and content management systems as a Director of Marketing.
- Solid knowledge of digital marketing strategies and building omnichannel campaigns to drive demand generation and support sales enablement, including in-person events, webinars, marketing automation, and social media.
- Proven track record of managing multiple sales and marketing campaigns concurrently.
- Business or Marketing-related degree, with an MBA considered a plus.
