Job description
Leppington Pastoral Company is a family-owned and functional dairy farm, milking 2,000 cows in a modified dairy facility that is one of the largest situated in Australia. The dairy is based on a US style of farming, milking cows 3 times daily. Currently, we are looking to hire 2 Diesel Mechanics – Mobile Plant to connect our team in Bringelly NSW.
The successful candidate will require to undertake and own the:
Duties of Diesel Mechanics – Mobile Plant in Australia
- Be proficient in active on-road transport as well as off-road
- Be proficient in active earthmoving and agricultural machinery
- Understanding and diagnostics proficiency, priorly TEXA
- Repair and maintenance of brakes
- Repair and reconstruction of engines
- Proficiency in both manual and automatic transmissions
- General servicing of all machinery
- Auto electrical proficiency
- Welding proficiency
Skills & Attributes of Diesel Mechanics – Mobile Plant
- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or related.
- Minimum of 3+years proficiency in Agricultural machinery or a readiness to learn.
- Minimum of 3+years proficiency in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics/ mobile plant.
- Salary range is $55,000 – $65,000pa commensurate with skills and proficiency.
- 2 Full-time Positions are available
