Developer Support Engineer Responsibilities
- As a developer support engineer, you must understand and explain inefficiencies in the current technical Program Support infrastructure.
- Maintain partnership in creating a solid community presence within the Meta Horizon Worlds and VR ecosystems
- Must create and manage new and existing technical content to give a positive impression on the future success of Horizon and VR developers.
- You have to provide program members with practical solutions to technical problems.
- Find out and communicate deep trends about the developer communities to Engineering teams and the broader company.
- Provide suggestions for the technical requirements of Program developers to relevant Engineering teams, Documentation teams, and Leadership.
- You have to maintain partnerships with the Programs, Product, and Engineering teams to bring improvements in the developer experience within the Meta ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications
- You must have 3+ years of experience in game development or adjacent gaming fields
- Must have 1+ year of experience developing in VR, 2D, Horizon Worlds, and other scripting environments
- Working experience in leading cross-functional efforts across competing priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Capable of handling things independently and overcoming obstacles by developing creative solutions
- Completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications
- Must have working experience with Zendesk or other ticketing systems
- Maintain and track record of building successful developer support functions
- You must be Creative, resourceful, and highly organized
