Schedule: This is a full-time job that administers 24/7 coverage; the program will be 1st shift (8 am CST – 5 pm CST, Monday to Friday, including at least one weekend day per week)
Primary Responsibilities of Desktop Support Technician
- Get, investigate, and answer Help Work area demands through calls or messages in everyday climate.
- Set up and keep up with equipment and programming, including PCs, printers, copiers, faxes, scanners, and projectors
- Instruct end-clients on the most proficient method to determine different equipment and programming issues
- Go about as front-end support for all approaching specialized issues, and accumulate exact information connected with the episodes detailed by end clients.
- Test the given data for legitimacy and precision. Raise complex issues and non-IT-related issues to the appropriate office.
- Desktop support technicians must help staff with the establishment, arrangement, and progressing ease of use of work areas, PCs, fringe gear, and programming conforming to given principles and rules.
- Give direct first-line support in the testing and sending of new approaches and frameworks.
- Screen stock degrees of equipment and submit a demand for hardware when required.
- The Front Work area must incorporate aiding walk-ins and recording receipts of PC hardware.
- Offer nearby specialized help for video gathering programming and equipment.
- Assess applications and programming patches so that work area applications might check whether they will settle work area issues

Required Qualifications of Desktop Support Technician 1
- Associate Degree (or higher) and minimum 6+ months of proficiency in a desktop support environment OR
- 3+ years of work proficiency, including military, in any IT field
- 6+ months of proficiency using Microsoft Office products to offer end-users technical support for hardware and software
