Job Description:
- We are searching for a data engineer with experience designing and optimizing queries, and indexes, on big distributed applications employing Data Lakes, with solid knowledge of Elastic Search (or equivalent NoSQL DB), Kafka, and prior experience (Kafka, Elastic Search).
- Understanding cloud platforms (K8s) would also be beneficial.
- For our numerous Customers and app teams, manage our data model, data pipeline, and data lake.
- Improve our NoSQL data lake by working with the application teams (index, queries, shards, performance)
- Our NoSQL data lake was designed and optimized for dependability and supportability.
Requirements:
- 3 years or more of demonstrable experience.
Required expertise in and good skills in:
- Databases
- Efficient Search
- Kafka and Kubernetes
- Queries
- Repository
- Python software development expertise
- the capacity to identify and address challenging infrastructure resource and application deployment problems.
Optional Requirements:
- Employing a variety of cloud-native technologies and stacks for two years or longer (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Open Stack, etc.)
