Role of Cyber Security Engineer
The company is looking for an exceptional Cyber Security Engineer in London to oversee, support, and develop the company’s services and support the expansion of its brand worldwide.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- As a Cyber Security Engineer in London you have Knowledge of cybersecurity organization practices, operations, and risk management processes.
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, risks, procedures, and architectural designs, generate reports, and share intelligence.
- Familiar with network configuration and setup. VPN, Cross Connect, Switch, Firewall
- Configuring and monitoring server status and performance (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Building, deploying, upgrading, and maintaining servers on multiple virtual and physical servers crossing different regions and systems (Linux, Windows) – Ansible, Docker, LXC.
- Systems administration, configuration, patching, troubleshooting, and automation (scripting)
Technical Skills:
- Cisco Networking – ASA, Switch (CCNP knowledge level required), and Web Proxy Server
- TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, Failover, NAT, Routing, BGP, HSRP, Multicasting, VLAN, ACL, Port Forwarding, DNS, SSL, NGINX, Proxy, etc.
- Linux Server – OS and hardware, LXC, tables, standard user, network, and system management
- AWS – EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Network and Security Policy Management
- Deployment, monitoring, and packaging – Ansible, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, docker
- Script – Bash, Python (would be a plus)
