Overview:
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will join our growing team with its growing focus in Cyber Security and business growth, working closely with our Cyber Security Manager to manage all security-oriented client applications. Services will ensure smooth and successful delivery of audits and certifications. A constantly evolving role.
You will be responsible for providing advice, support and action on security matters to our clients and internal colleagues as well as working on Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus Assessments and all other services in our security portfolio. Customer service is a priority, as you will enjoy interacting and building relationships with our existing, diverse customer base Cyber Security Engineer.
what will you do:
Duties include:
Liaising with customers to understand client requests and better resolve issues
Supporting project implementation from initial customer training to ongoing support
Working on Cyber Essentials and IASME Assurance
Working on Cyber Essentials Plus and IASME Assured (Audited) audits
Internal vulnerability scanning (including customising reporting)
External penetration testing (including custom reporting)
Using enterprise-level tools to analyse and assess vulnerabilities
Assist clients with a portfolio of products and services available.
Assisting sales and support teams with relevant information and advice, taking ownership where required

About you:
Required Skills:
Good understanding of networks and underlying infrastructure
Desirable – Knowledge of cyber essential scheme
Desirable – Good knowledge of networking (routing, IP, topology etc.)
Personal Qualities:
organised
Good problem solving skills
Good time keeping
Attention to detail
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are key
Interest in technology and troubleshooting
Able to think outside the box
Desirable – Driving Licence [Not Required]
Entry Requirements:
Admission requirements for this program are as follows:
A Level in ICT
or International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT
or a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
or BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience that demonstrate the minimum foundation required for the program. In this instance you may still be considered for the program.
If you hold the international equivalent of the above qualifications, you must be able to provide an official document at the time of your application showing how your international qualifications compare to UK qualifications. are

Work week:
41 hours per week.
Salary:
£12,000 – £15,000 per annum.
